Updates from Rowling: 'HBP' fewer than 38 chapters

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince author JK Rowling is enjoying finally being able to talk about the next book in her boy-wizard series.

"It has been a weighty secret to carry around," she said in updates to her official site. "But finally sharing it with you was wonderful: much more fun than wrapping presents and tidying the house before the family arrives, which is what I am supposed to be doing at the moment."

Jo also reports that the book will be less than 38 chapters, and is in the editing process.
