We previously reported
that Warners Brothers was offering a chance for fans of Harry Potter to interview three of the stars as well as JK Rowling, The Time-Tuner Sweepstakes begins today with a chance for fans to win dozens of daily prizes and three grand prizes, each consisting of a week-long trip to the UK for the winners and their guests. The sweepstakes winners will be announced in January 2005.
Information for entering the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Time-Tuner Sweepstakes:
From November 8 through November 23, Harry Potter fans in the U.S., ages 7 to 17, can relive the magic of the third film by entering the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban "Time-Turner Sweepstakes."
By registering on the site and logging on each day, fans can enter for chances to win the grand prizes and dozens of daily prizes, such as collectible movie prop replicas from Noble Collections, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban video games from Electronic Arts, trading cards from Artbox Entertainment, construction sets from the Lego Company and more. In addition, fans will be randomly awarded cool downloads such as screensavers, computer desktop wallpapers and instant message icons.
By using a special online "Time-Turner," fans can "turn back time" to get additional chances to win prizes that were available on earlier days of the sweepstakes.
