JKR's signature helps church raise £10,000

J.K. Rowling's signature in the visitor's book from St. Luke's church in the UK helped raise £10,000 ($19,712) at a fundraising launch for Tutshill church while the book was on display.

You may remember that during last December's airing of J.K. Rowling...A Year in the Life JK mentions that she stole a name from the same book to use for an "unpleasant character" in the books.
