Even though J.K. Rowling was the number one choice by fans for TIME’s 'Person of the Year,' the Harry Potter author was one of the runner-ups on this year's list. TIME magazine has a nice interview with the author where she talks about the books and answers 10 questions about Harry Potter.
When asked about going back to the series, JK's says:
If, and it's a big if, I ever write an eight book about the [wizarding] world, I doubt that Harry would be the central character. I feel like I've already told his story. But these are big ifs. Let's give it 10 years and see how we feel then.
This week's issue of the magazine hits newsstands on Friday with Russia's President Vladimir Putin as the 'Person of the Year' on the cover.
You can also hear an interview with JK here where she answers many questions about the series, courtesy of TLC's podcast.
