Update: Rowling & Watson attend 'Pride of Britain Awards' in London

Earlier this evening Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling and actress Emma Watson attended the Pride of Britain Awardsopens in new window that took place at The London Studios in London.

The event celebrates the UK's real life heroes and such notables as Prince Charles, Ewan McGregor and Stephen Fry attended the star-studded event.

Also, thanks to Joseph for letting us know that Emma's official web siteopens in new window has been updated with news that Emma presented Jo with a Special Recognition award and that Jo specifically asked Emma to attend the event and to present the award to her.
