'Phoenix' world premiere in Japan, June 28

We first posted about the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premiere dates last month and can now confirm that the world premiere for the movie will take place in Tokyo, Japan on June 28.

According to the report Japan was chosen due to the record-breaking box office receipts for Spider-Man 3, while a Warner Bros. spokesperson stated that there was "no special reason" for the fifth Harry Potter movie to open in Japan. If we hear additional news about this premiere we will let you all know.

Staff from HPANA will be attending the London premiere on July 3 and the Los Angeles premiere on July 8. Hope to see you there!
