Once again, Harry Potter author JK Rowling has given to charity close to her heart. Ms. Rowling has donated a substantial donation towards a new £2.5 million facility at Edinburgh University’s Centre of Regenerative Research, to help doctors better understand multiple sclerosis.
She said yesterday:
It means a great deal to me to be able to provide support for this much-needed research centre. It is an extremely exciting step forward in the ongoing battle to try to unlock the mysteries of MS and which will hopefully, one day, lead to a cure.
Jo, whose mother died from MS, is a patron of the MS Society of Scotland.
