Potter sales top 300 million worldwide

JK Rowling's agent, Christopher Little, reports
today that 300 million copies of the Harry Potter books have been sold worldwide. More than one-third of all copies were sold in America and the books have been translated into 63 languages, the latest one being Farsi.
A Christopher Little spokeswoman said:
We are delighted to announce that worldwide sales for the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling have now exceeded 300 million copies.
