Rowling wins 'Writer of the Year' award

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has won the Writer of the Year Award from British Glamour Magazine. The eventopens in new window Glamour Women of the Year Awards took place in London last night with Ms. Rowling accepting her award via video.

Ms. Rowling commented:

The irony of the word 'glamour' appearing in a sentence with my name on it is not lost on me.
