David Yates officially signed for 'Order of the Phoenix'

It's official: Warner Bros. Pictures. announced today that David Yates will be directing Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Yates had previously said that he was directing the movie but no official word had been announced until now.
Potter producer David Heyman had this to say:
I am thrilled that David Yates is going to direct Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Not only does he have tremendous passion for the world of Harry Potter, but he is a great director with a keen visual sense who fills every frame with humanity and compassion for his characters.
Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures added:
"We've been fortunate to have worked with very talented directors on the first four Harry Potter films, all of whom have brought these extraordinary stories to life with their own unique creative vision. We're looking forward to continuing that tradition with David Yates on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Heyman will produce Order of the Phoenix from a screenplay by Michael Goldenberg (Peter Pan) with production on the film expected to begin in England in January 2006.
