As vehicles with built-in DVD players become more commonplace, so do the surrounding DVD-less cars, who become "silent moviegoers" by trailing the broadcaster.

As one family found outopens in new window, it's almost like a traveling multiplex, with different cars showing different movies driving at different speeds:

On that three-wide stretch of interstate where we held the center lane, an Xterra came up on our right side with, you know it, a TV screen. When I asked what was playing in theater No. 2, my daughter Ashleigh, answered, "It's Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets."

Decisions. Decisions. The children had a discussion as to which movie they wanted to see more. As the Nissan sped by us, our choice was made easy. We'd stay with Brother Bear.

The writer reminds drivers to keep their eyes on the road whenever possible.
