Art Smart Adventures will be hosting a series of "Art Hunts" featuring Harry Potter in December at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art. The trivia-driven games will direct players through the museum, using mythological connections found in JK Rowling's stories.
To get through the maze, children answer a set of questions focusing on Potter trivia from all five books, leading them to related art objects along a planned route. Clues will guide the way. For example,
- Find a figure that has the same first name of Professor McGonagall.
- Track down a painting with a very old-fashioned version of Harry's Nimbus.
- Discover an object made from a material that has the same color as unicorn's blood.
Tickets cost $15 per child and $20 per adult and can be purchased online by calling Art Smart at 212-595-4444 or visiting their web site.
