College paper The Indiana Statesman writes about the growing popularity of Harry Potter amongst their student population:
"I think the characters are very true to life, as far as good guys go," said sophomore theater major Anna Spydell. "They are normal kids, and I think that speaks very well, especially to kids. I think the appeal is that, in this book, the person who is a little weird gets to go to a place where he can still be weird, but at the same time be the star of his school."
Well spoken!
