The Daily Record:

Security has been tightened at the film set at Glencoe, Argyll, after polystyrene pumpkins and plaster rocks went missing. Construction crews, drafted in from Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, have been working for months with local tradesmen to build a Harry Potter Land alongside Clachaig Gully.

But much of the set - which includes the hut made for Hagrid, played by actor Robbie Coltrane - is so close to the A82 Glasgow to Fort William road that it has become a major visitor attraction. And Clachaig Gully is a public right of way for walkers, climbers and mountaineers - foiling attempts by security men to keep snoopers off the set. Warner Brothers film bosses have already failed in a bid to designate the set as a building site which means health and safety legislation would apply.
