From Ananova:&br;&br;Around 700 people have attended a memorial service for actor Richard Harris in his native Limerick.&br;&br;The service for Harris, who died on October 25, was held at the city's Jesuit Church.&br;&br;The actor's first wife, Elizabeth, one of their sons, Jared, and the actor's three brothers, Ivan, Noel and Billy, were among the attendance.&br;&br;Friends and acquaintances from the worlds of acting, politics and sport were also at the service.&br;&br;The film producer, Noel Pearson, who spoke at the ceremony, described Harris as a "circus of a man" who had starred in 80 films and had made two No 1 hit records.&br;&br;He also described him as a great poet whose generosity and good humour were extraordinary.&br;&br;His wife Elizabeth described the ceremony as very moving and friendly, full of love and very fitting. Former Irish Prime Minister Albert Reynolds described Richard Harris as an outstanding actor and a great Irishman.&br;&br;Members of both Young Munster and Garryowen rugby clubs were present. Harris was a lifelong supporter of Young Munster and won a senior cup medal with Garryowen.&br;&br;Photographers and TV cameras were excluded from the ceremony at the family's request.&br;&br;Hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!!
