'Order of the Phoenix' rated 'M' in Australia

Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification announcedopens in new window that the rating for the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie will be M for 'moderate fantasy themes and violence.' The M rating is advisory with recommending viewing for mature audiences - it is not enforceable. This rating follows in line with the one for Goblet of Fire.

The film has received a PG-13 rating in the U.Sopens in new window. for 'sequences of fantasy violence and frightening images' and a 12A rating in the UKopens in new window for 'moderate fantasy violence and horror.'
