Some new photosopens in new window of second unit filming on the River Thames of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix have appeared online.

A little note on filming from the site:

During the middle of May we spotted the film crew (for Order Of The Phoenix) filming along the River Thames, speeding up and down the river - ideas for what they where doing - We think they were practicing the flying broomsticks (using special effects) scene where Harry arrives in London from Privet Drive to stay at Grimmold Place.

Last year, director David Yates spokeopens in new window about filming such a scene for the movie:

I want to do a great big wizard chase past the London landmarks and it is going to be very exciting, but it has not been easy to set up.

Currently, filming of the primary cast is on hiatus and should resume in July. Please note that while the site mentions that filming is currently taking place in Turkey, it had been confirmedopens in new window last October that filming would remain in the UK.
