April 11th: 'GoF' Hi-Def DVD release

In a press release issued today, Warner Home Video has announced that the high definition (HD) DVD for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will be available on April 11, 2006. It is one of 24 movie titles initially confirmed to be released in this new digital format, which can only be played on a HD DVD player. Luckily, the HD DVD player will also be delivered into the market around the same time.

Please note, Warner Home Videos has confirmed April 11th for the high definition DVD format. We'll keep you posted as to whether or not the non-HD Goblet of Fire DVD will also be released on the same (or possibly different) date.
