After being the only movie in 2005 to reign at the number one spot in U.S. movie theatres for three weeks, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has slipped to the third spot. The estimated weekend take for the fourth movie in the series is $10.3 million.
Even though the movie has dropped, ticket sales for Goblet of Fire in the U.S. are still ahead of all previously released Potter movies by $4.6 million during the same period in theatres.
Currently Goblet of Fire has taken in $658.1 million worldwide. Official box office results will be released Monday afternoon.
