The world premiere of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire trailer will take place exclusively on Moviefone.com tomorrow morning, according to John Angelo, a representative there.
The trailer will be available beginning Thursday, September 15 at 9:00 a.m. EST at this link.
"AOL Moviefone works with all the studios to help promote upcoming movies," said Angelo. "This trailer is one of the biggest items we're going to get all year."
Angelo tells us that while the presentation tomorrow will not be full-screen in high definition, anyone with a broadband connection will enjoy it in excellent quality. "Harry Potter clips have been one of the most popular features on Moviefone, bringing in millions of viewers," he added.
On Monday, HPANA published a first look at the new trailer, detailing the new scenes that are featured in the promo.
AOL has also, for the previous three Potter films, offered complete musical scores online in a streaming listening format before the movies were released to theatres. Angelo said they're currently working with Warner Bros. to determine what assets they'll have in the final two months before Goblet of Fire premieres, and that it may include the soundtrack and other video clips.
"In this fourth installment of the series, directed by Mike Newell, Harry wonders why his legendary scar -- the famous result of a death curse gone wrong -- is aching in pain and causing mysterious visions," Moviefone's press release stated. "Ralph Fiennes joins the series as Lord Voldemont."
AOL is the parent company of Warner Bros. and also owns and operates Moviefone.com.
UPDATE: Satellite coordinates for the broadcast of the trailer later on Thursday have been announced.
