Veritaserum and MuggleNet are reporting that the charactors of Fleur Delacour and Rita Skeeter have been cast for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which started filming on March 21st.
According to a Veritaserum interview with talent agent Danielle Symonds of Enchantment Casting (who represented Andy and Emilie, two French girls both vying for the prized role of Fleur Delacour):
"All I know is that the girl who was chosen has experience, and has done some films before. I was later told by Fiona [Weir], after she had looked at the DVD that Emilie had made, that there were already three Fleurs in the running, but that she still wished to show the DVD to the director. About three weeks ago, I received another reply from Fiona, saying that the role had been cast; they had discussed Emilie but had chosen another girl. Basically, Emilie had reached the final four Fleur Delacours."
MuggleNet is also reporting that Rosamund Pike has told British magazine Now! that she will play Rita Skeeter in the upcoming movie. A Rosamund Pike fan site states that she reportedly told the magazine:
"It's a dream to be in a Harry Potter movie, and working with Mike Newell is such a honor, I admire him a lot."
