Robbie Coltrane's 'Cracker' voted best TV drama of all time

Before he portayed everybody's favorite half-giant Hagrid in the Harry potter movies, Robbie Coltraneopens in new window was perhaps best known to UK viewers as Fitz in the TV show Crackeropens in new window back in the early '90s. The series was so good, in fact, that in a recent poll Robbie's old show was voted the best TV drama of all timeopens in new window.

It beat the likes of Brideshead Revisited, The Singing Detective and The Forsyte Saga in the poll.

Coltrane earned three Baftas for his portrayal of hard-drinking criminal psychologist Eddie ‘Fitz’ Fitzgerald in the show.
