In between filming his part as Hogwarts caretaker Argus Filch in next year's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban movie, David Bradley can be seen showing his talents in the theatre while cast as the leading role in Titus Andronicus
, one of Shakespeare's darkest plays:
In the title role of this fine Bill Alexander production is David Bradley, probably best known as Filch, the grubby caretaker in the Harry Potter films. Bradley makes a magnificent Titus, portraying a character who, at each turn of the plot, is casually brutal, deeply compassionate, self-sacrificing and able to fake his own madness. It is an understated, gritty performance.
