John Cleese finds work outside of 'Potter'

John Cleese - who plays Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter films - may not be appearing in the third movie, but the comedy veteran's voice and face will be hitting the airwaves in a number of ways this fall.
Today Salton, Inc., marketer and distributor of branded consumer electronics including George Foreman grills and the Juiceman, announced a deal with Cleese that will produce six "humorous" commercials for a new battery-powered vacuum cleaner:
The short form commercials will begin airing at the end of September; the long form will begin airing mid-October. The company has already shipped the first production units of the product and expects to be near full-production levels in time for Christmas.
Cleese's voice and likeness can also be seen and heard in these fall releases of various kinds:
- A new video game, James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing (story - product link)
