Madonna to 'express' herself in Potter's domain

Pop superstar Madonna surprised fans in March when she announced she was writing a series of children's books. She's planning a worldwide assault
for the Sept. 15 launch of the first book, including the largest ever "simultaneous multi-language release." That takes into consideration Harry Potter:
Her fame is sure to help sell the book, the first published novel she has written, though catching up with the runaway global success of Potter might need a touch of magic.
The mother-of-two will be in Paris to unveil The English Roses, the first of five volumes, each illustrated by a well-known artist, a spokeswoman for French publisher Gallimard said on Thursday.
The book will be published simultaneously in 30 languages and in 100 countries.
