Game Boy lifts Nintendo to profit

Nintendo got a surprising boost from sales of its cheap, ultra-popular handheld unit, the Game Boy Advance. But since the once-leading video game console maker halted production of its GameCube unit, industry experts aren't singing "Hallelujah" just yet.
Still, EA Games' Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone became the #1 title for Game Boy Advance shortly after its release in November 2001, and the sequel Chamber of Secrets held the title in December 2002, undoubtedly helping to drive sales of the device itself.
