Want to meet a snake? An iguana or a pigmy hedgehog? Or how about Harry's owl Hedwig? Thanks to Bentley Library's summer holiday programme, several youngsters got a chance to do just that
.
Jill Reynolds from Smestow Wildlife Centre in Wombourne dropped in to Bentley Library in Queen Elizabeth Avenue, for some animal magic, yesterday.
She introduced spellbound youngsters to a snake, an iguana, a pigmy hedgehog and Oak the snowy owl, who played Hedwig in the hit film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Library services manager Julie Graystone said: "About 50 children came to the library and they all really enjoyed meeting the animals. The feedback has been really positive."
