It has been well known that the new Quidditch World Cup video game was due out sometime this fall

Global publishing powerhouse (try saying that after a few Shandys) EA today announced a spate of release date changes, affecting titles due before 2003 is out.
In October, new versions of FIFA, NBA Live and SSX will be shipped, as well as the hotly-anticipated (by EA shareholders at least) Quidditch World Cup. Penultimately, The Sims Makin' Magic will be with us at the end of October. Finally, Total Club Manager 2004 and The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King will be out on November 7th.
Additionally, Eurogamer provided the more specific release date of October 31.
