In a new interview with Scifi.com, Alan Rickman talked briefly about the filming schedules of himself, as well as Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix), and Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort), for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

Rickman to start filming 'HBP' in February
While attending the 2008 Sundance Film Festival in the U.S., "Harry Potter" actor Alan Rickman briefly mentions that he will start filming his part in "Half-Blood Prince" in February. Mr. Rickman also refused to answer any questions about his character, Prof. Snape, stating that by doing so would spoil the books for the fans that have not finished reading the series.

'Potter' stars attend 'Music from the Movies' in London
Earlier this evening "Harry Potter" stars Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane and director Mike Newell attended the 'Music from the Movies,' a concert to aid the UK's leading blood cancer charity Leukaemia Research at the Royal Albert Hall. All the music performed at the concert was written by "Goblet of Fire" film composer Patrick Doyle; himself a leukemia survivor.

Rickman's play to open off-Broadway in October
Alan Rickman, Prof. Snape in the "Harry Potter" series, is to have his play "My Name is Rachel Corrie" open off-Broadway in October. The play, which Mr. Rickman edited and directed, has been honored on the London stage but has not been shown on Broadway due to it's controversial topic.

Another "Harry Potter" actor was in New York this week to attend the Tribeca Film Festival. Alan Rickman (Prof. Snape in the "Harry Potter" movies) attended the premiere of his movie "Snow Cake" last night with actress Sigourney Weaver. Alan was also in town to secure a venue for his play "My Name Is Rachel Corrie."

Potter stars movies showing at the Tribeca Film Festival
"Harry Potter" actors Julie Walters and Rupert Grint's film "Driving Lessons" will be one of the many movies showed at this year's Tribeca Film Festival in New York City. Alan Rickman's movie Snowcake will also been shown. The festival runs from April 5th through May 7th and will showcase over 250 movies from around the world.

New behind-the-scenes 'Goblet of Fire' pictures
Two new behind-the-scenes pictures during the production of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" have popped up. One of them portrays Mike Newell directing Daniel Radcliffe in the graveyard. The other has the director chuckling with Daniel, Rupert Grint and Alan Rickman in the Great Hall. UPDATE: A new picture of director Mike Newell & Michael Gambon has also been added.

Hi-res 'Goblet of Fire' stills from USA Today
Warner Bros. has kindly sent high quality versions of the photos from "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" that appeared recently in USA Today. They include shots of Harry battling a dragon (and You-Know-Who, perhaps, with his wand), Hermione and Krum at the ballroom dance, and a group shot of many of the adults.

Alan Rickman and Warwick Davis hitch ride on 'Guide'
"Harry Potter" stars Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) and Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick) are apparently lending their respective talents to the film adaptation of Douglas Adams' "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Director Garth Jennings reportedly told BBC Radio 1 just a few days ago that Rickman was to be the voice of Marvin the Android. Davis was confirmed earlier as the actor who will operate Marvin's robotic costume.

Harry Potter cast support book auction for charity
Cast members from the “Harry Potter” movies are lending their support to LEPRA, a leading UK medical charity that supports fighting Leprosy, HIV, and AIDS world-wide. Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane, Emma Thompson and Zoë Wanamaker as well as “Harry Potter” narrator Stephen Fry all donated signed books for “The Big Book Auction,” which begins today on eBay and ends on November 27th.
