UK's Walk of Fame includes Potter stars
To answer Hollywood's Walk of Fame, the UK has unveiled the Avenue of Stars in central London. Stars from the last 50 years in entertainment honored included "Harry Potter" actors Dame Maggie Smith, Julie Walters, John Cleese, Robbie Coltrane, Kenneth Branagh, Lenny Henry, Eric Sykes and Sir Michael Gambon.

Update: Hi-res behind-the-scenes pics from 'Goblet of Fire'
Four new behind-the-scenes photos from the set of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" have surfaced, featuring shots of Mike Newell directing several of the film's stars. Included are Daniel Radcliffe, Robert Pattinson, Miranda Richardson and others. UPDATE: Thanks to Warner Bros. for sending high-resolution versions.

Thanks to Veritaseurm we have a chance to see some never before videos of the making of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” that are currently being shown on U.S. cable station DirectTV. Some of the video clips show Alfonso Cuarón, David Thewlis, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson & Rupert Grint discussing the making of the film.

Performing on stage in Australia for the first time, Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall) will be touring down under this spring to reprise her BAFTA-winning role in Alan Bennett's satire "Talking Heads".

'David Copperfield' rerun this weekend
Masterpiece Theatre on PBS station WNET (New York) this weekend presents Charles Dickens' "David Copperfield", starring Dame Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), a young Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) in his first acting role, Zoe Wanamaker (Madam Hooch) and Lord of the Rings wizard Sir Ian McKellan. It originally aired in December 2001, and most markets will see a new, different Masterpiece production instead.

A great dame (Maggie Smith, that is)
It has taken more than 50 years of appearing on stage and in films for Maggie Smith to achieve the superstar status where children stop her in the street. "They mostly ask me to turn into a cat, which is very, very tricky because I can't do it," she says.

Dame Maggie Smith (Prof. McGonagall) turns to TV
Maggie Smith has a simple explanation for her career: "I tend to do what turns up," she says. The Harry Potter franchise, Smith says, feels like a gift. "I think they're great fun, I really do; I mean, it's a terrific job. It's like a pension; I'm incredibly lucky. I'm very, very grateful."
