My posts are taking over the front page of the Snitch! Whee! *higgles* More news...

'Chamber of Secrets' is among the seven films selected for a bid at the Best Visual Effects Oscar! Only three of the films will actually be officially nominated for the Academy Awards... "Members of the visual-effects nominating committee will view 15-minute clip reels from each movie on Feb. 5 and will pick three nominees, which will be announced Feb. 11. The Oscars will be awarded March 23." The other six films were 'The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers,' 'Men In Black II,' 'Spider-Man,' 'XXX,' 'Minority Report,' and 'Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.'
Congratulations to the 'Chamber of Secrets' team!

The BBC reports that casting for 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban' continues. Warner Brothers is still accepting letters, noting that only British children should try for a role. The company made no announcement regarding whether the major adult roles have been cast. (Seems to me that they'd better hurry! Filming begins in February...)
