Another record surpassed for the Harry Potter series, as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 has moved
into the top 10 on the all-time worldwide box office, as well as becoming the second highest grossing Potter film in history.
As can be seen in the below list, the Harry Potter franchise has a powerful presence in the worldwide box office, with a quarter of the top 12 slots being held by the highest grossing franchise in film history.
12 - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - $934.0 million
11 - Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix - $938.2 million
10 - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 - $938.3 million
9 - Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - $961.0 million
8 - Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - $974.7 million
