Variety has announced that ABC Family has recently made a deal with Warner Brothers for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. ABC Family now owns the rights to show all six existing films on their television network:
[Senior VP of program acquisitions and scheduling Tom] Zappala said he'll work with Ken Werner, president of Warner Bros. Domestic TV Distribution, to help launch the theatrical release of Half Blood Prince in July by running a marathon of the first four Harry Potter films.
