David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter series spoke recently about his love of doing the franchise for the last 10 years and mentions that he can't wait to see how the story ends.
In this interview, David talks about his promise to author JK Rowling about 'protecting' the story and the fact that he doesn't know the ending. He also discusses how bringing different directors on board keeps the movies fresh and how each bring something of their own to the series.
Mr. Heyman on the end of the series:
It's a combination of sadness and excitement, I think - for Jo, and for all of us. This world has become a huge part of millions and millions of people's lives. We all love it so much, and I think, afterward, there will be a little hole in our lives for a while.
David credit's the trio's parents for keeping them on the straight and narrow and encourages each of them to 'pursue other interests' outside the Harry Potter movies:
They don't need the money, so their decisions are about experience and what they want to do with their lives.
