With auditions for the role of Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix taking place last Saturday, reports now state that out of the nearly 15,000 girls who auditioned 400 have been chosen to move forward to the next round of auditions, Warner Bros. will only be contacting those individuals they wish to see again.

Fiona Weir from Warner Bros. has told CBBC Newsroundopens in new window:

We really didn't have a particular look in mind and saw many fabulous girls from all points of the UK and Ireland.

We were really amazed at the response and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday.

Even though we had many thousands more than anticipated, we were determined to see everyone who came along.
