It would seem that with the state of U.S. movies that many experts are looking forward to movies being released at the end of the year to help it recover from a disappointing summer.

One of the movies highly anticipated is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, which will be released on November 18. Two other movies also hoping to help are King Kong and The Chronicles of Narnia at number 1 and 3 respectively.

No. 2 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Moving Harry, Hermione and friends back to Thanksgiving, when the first two films opened, is expected to reinvigorate this franchise. Harry's numbers drooped somewhat with the June release of Prisoner of Azkaban, even though it got the best reviews of the series. Goblet of Fire should also get a boost from the recent excitement surrounding the publication of J.K. Rowling's latest wizardly saga. In the new film, from the thickest and darkest book in the series, Harry must cope with not only Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), newly risen from the grave, but also fire-breathing dragons.
