Spellbound's magical hotel rates disappearing June 30

Hotel room blocks reserved for attendees of Spellbound!, the massive Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince release party sponsored by HPANA, MuggleNet and Wizarding World Press, will be released June 30 along with the substantially discounted rates (from $189/night down to just $69!). That means there's just over a week to make reservations and join tens of thousands of fellow fans at the event.

Activities at the hotels will include a midnight pajama reading environment, discussion groups (throughout the day) featuring authors from WWP's The Plot Thickens book, and the Quidditch for Muggles game contributed by HP Fan Trips. Other activities will occur at the Randhurst Shopping Center. (A full, detailed schedule will be released soon.)

Residents in and around the Chicago, Illinois area can take advantage of Spellbound!'s specially negotiated rates and avoid driving home at 1 a.m. Relax, read the book until you crash and then just skip up to your hotel room.
