Update on Franz Ferdinand and Harry Potter

We reported earlier this week that Franz Ferdinand
had been approached to write songs and act in the next Harry Potter movie. Now BBC Radio has more information directly from their guitarist Nick McCarthy:
"We were going to collaborate with Jarvis, Jarvis Cocker. He's written three songs already and he wants us to write another one with him, so hopefully we'll have the time and energy! No, we do have the energy, I'm sure. It's such an exciting thing to do, it's incredible. They've asked us to be in the film. Something about the four weird sisters or ugly sisters, (it's actually the Weird Sisters) playing bagpipes or something, I don't know."
If we receive confirmation about their participation in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire we will be sure to let everyone know.
