Stuart Craig to receive Hollywood Art Director of the Year award

On the recommendation of the Council of the Art Directors Guild (ADG) three-time Oscar winner, Stuart Craig, production designer for all the Harry Potter movies, is to receive the Hollywood Art Director of the Year award from the Hollywood Film Festival in October.
The event will take place on October 18 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills with a gathering of 1,000 industry and guild executives, stars, celebrities, filmmakers and media.
Craig's three Academy Awards were for Gandhi, Dangerous Liaisons and The English Patient. He was also nominated for four other films: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Chaplin, The Mission and Elephant Man. The Art Directors Guild Awards voted Craig its Excellence in Production Design Award for a Feature Film in 1997 for The English Patient. He is also a nine-time nominee for BAFTA Awards, winning in 1981 for Elephant Man.
