Here's the official announcement:

Warner Bros. Pictures is pleased to announce the Summer 2004 release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the third feature film adaptation based on J.K. Rowling's best selling novels. Academy Award nominee Alfonso Cuarón (Y Tu Mamá También) takes the helm as director for producers David Heyman, Chris Columbus and Mark Radcliffe.

In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry and his friends Ron and Hermione return for their third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where the teenagers are forced to face their darkest fears as they confront a dangerous escaped prisoner and the equally foreboding Dementors, who are sent there to protect them.

The illustrious Harry Potter cast reunites young stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, who reprise their roles as Harry, Hermione, and Ron, as well as actors Maggie Smith (Professor McGonagall), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Alan Rickman (Professor Snape), and Prisoner of Azkaban newcomers Gary Oldman (Sirius Black), Emma Thompson (Sybill Trelawney) David Thewlis (Professor Lupin), Julie Christie (Madam Rosmerta) and Michael Gambon (Professor Dumbledore).

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban will be released in June 2004 by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.
