'Goblet of Fire' roles help MS auction

As previously reportedopens in new window two walk-on roles in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire were up for auction last night opens in new windowto benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotlandopens in new window. Additional items up for auction were a life-size figure of Harry Potter's friend Dobby the House Elf, a rare leatherbound signed edition of the Order Of The Phoenix (the only other leatherbound copy of the latest Potter belongs to author JK Rowling herself) and a Harry Potter train set.

The two walk-on parts in the movie, which starts filming in April, were snapped up for £10,000 ($17,215) and £9,000 ($15,493.50).

The life-size Dobby went for £3,000 ($5,164.50)

The rare signed Phoenix book went for £35,000 ($60,252.50) and the train set was auctioned for £1,700 ($2,926.55)

Rowling was guest of honor at the dinner of which she is patron.
