Mark your calendars because readers across the world will have the opportunity to chat online with JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, when she launches the Second World Book Day Online Festivalopens in new window on Thursday, March 4, 2004.

The bestselling author will talk to children about her books, her writing and the kind of books she likes to read. And during the chat, JK Rowling will answer twelve special questions from the winners of the Festival competition open to all UK schools.

The Festival films and transcripts of the web chats will be archived at www.worldbookdayfestival.comopens in new window so they can be visited over and over again.
