She runs several Harry Potter RPGs (role playing games), and is a moderator at Diagon Alleyopens in new window's popular forums. She's also designed Web sitesopens in new window since 1997, and will one day get around to doing the HPANA revamp she's been promising Jeff. She can be reached at [email protected].

Jennifer (eudaemonia) is a news contributor and site moderator who needs to send in a short bio of herself (hint).

Today, we're please to introduce the newest members of our dedicated team:

Shauna (Jatamansi), currently enjoying the sunny shores of Hawaii for a three-year stint thanks to the Navy, originally refused to have anything to do with all things Harry Potter just to buck the advice of her mother. However, after her husband got her to buy the first movie for their daughter (who didn't even watch it the first time), Shauna fell in love with the HP universe and devoured the first 4 books in less than a week. When she isn't re-reading OotP, Shauna is a full-time Chinese linguist, mom (with a second on the way in October!), and loving wife.

Kristin (owlpost) is a professional writer/editor/Web publisher, currently finishing her post-graduate certificate work in computer science at St. Louis University.

Jonathon (Sano Orbis) is a 30-year-old software engineer from Santa Cruz, California. He has previously worked on live Web services for Disney and Sprint. He is the father of two beautiful daughters, one a Harry Potter fan (age 5) and the other an aspiring Harry Potter fan (age 21 months).

Brenda (BrendaisBored), 24, was previously a reporter for the Observer & Eccentric and Dearborn Times Herald in Michigan, then Editor-in-Chief of her college newspaper.

Georgia (rissa), aged 19, is a Harry Potter enthusiast and writer

Grae, originally from Houston, began his love affair with the Harry Potter universe around the turn of the century, when his three kids tied him to a chair and forced him to read Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone, or else. Writing scifi and fantasy short stories in his spare time, Grae is currently employed at the University of Texas, where his work tends to pile up while he searches the internet for the latest HP news.

Jessica Lares is the owner of PotterProphet.comopens in new window and a Harry Potter theorist.

Won't you please join in welcoming these great additions to the HPANA staff? Their valuable contributions will help us fulfill our mission to provide you the latest Harry Potter news, and continue innovating fun new community-oriented services on the site.

(On a personal aside, I hope you'll excuse the slowness of news over the past three days - I was busy working on the news administration system these fine people will use. So, now they can get jiggy with it, and I can get to working on other areas of the site again!)
