A comic book biography? That's quite odd. I don't understand why they would want publish a book about JK Rowling's life in that format. I'll probably buy it because I am interested in her life, but I don't know if I'll enjoy reading it that way.

Interesting medium and twist. Might be worth a read, but will need to see more details. Maybe even a review or two. Wonder what JKR thinks?

This looks good! I mean, I'm not really interested in the story (I know as much about her life as I want to know I think), but I would surely enjoy the artwork. I suppose the pic above is a sample from the comic...

Hmm, sounds interesting! I know quite a bit about JKR, being a huge HP fan (obviously), but maybe I'll look at it someday. I've never heard of a comic book biography before. I wonder what Jo thinks of it? Huh... Well, cool anyway!

While it is unauthorized, it's still a really cool idea to get kids to want to read nonfiction books like biographies. I have a child that hates to read but he might be interested now that it is comic book form.

Ok, I'm angry that they did a Female Force of Stephenie Meyer BEFORE J.K. Rowling!!!

So sorry for the double post. I work at a bookstore that carry the Female Force comics. I do own the Princess Diana issue. It's a good way to get children and teens into bio's. They are done well, and a few do sell well. I just think they should've done Rowling a long time ago. Some of the issues include Princess Diana, Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama and Sarah Palin and Stephenie Meyer.

Is WB going to let this happen without yelling lawsuit???
I guess they have no say over what someone writes about her life.
This might be a worthy collectable just for the artwork involved. I'll have to look into this further.
Blessings! Hecate3fold!

I hope Jo Rowling approves. I myself ( if it were me) would like the comic book idea, but would also like the whole normal printed out book idea too. Maybe that will happen with Jo?

Wow, thats great! But I do hope that this comic book will be distributed and sold all over the world so that the larger population of the HP fans will be able to buy it.. so that I can buy it here in India.
But we all know her biography from her website, I hope there is more to it though. How long is it going to be, does anyone know?

That kind of creates controversy, knowing that JK didn't approve of the biography kind of leaves a message that its author most likely is trying to capture attention with this comic.
