Filming is underway for the Seven Potters chase sequence in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Pictures have emerged
online showing the stunt doubles of Harry and Hagrid filming scenes on Sirius' motorbike.

Glad to see that they're keeping that scene intact! I second the thought that it's a pity the motorcycle isn't flying as it should, but then again they may CGI it in later.

So that's how they do that. They are actually weaving in and out of traffic. I thought it was done with a green screen and filmed in a sound stage.
Looks very interesting and I guess it has to be choreographed precisely so no one gets hurt.

Not to be a whiner or anything, but why in the heck aren't they flying? Wasn't the whole scene in the air? Isn't it supposed to be a flying motorcycle? I'm a little disappointed because I was looking forward to that.
Also...how is Harry supposed to lose Hedwig & his Firebolt if he's not flying?

Its great that they are keeping this scene in and all, but Ive learned to stop getting my hopes up. In OOTP they flew sooo close to the ground on the way to Grimmauld Place. And HBP I was really dissapointed with. It looks to me that there filming this entire scene on the ground. Which is a huuggee mistake. They cant have 7 identical people in a huge magic fight, with peoples ears getting blown off, and people dying, and things exploding right in front of muggles on a street! But I guess they diddnt take that into consideration when they were filming the flight scene in ootp. When they flew right in front of that tour ship, and in the very opening scene of harry performing magic in Poa. I personally think that each movie after cos is starting to get lazy on keeping magic a secret from muggles.
