Actors Emma Watson, Brendan Gleeson and Jason Isaacs attended last night's BAFTA awards in London.
Ms. Watson presented the award for 'Special Visual Effects' which was won by The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, while Mr. Gleeson picked up an award on behalf of Martin McDonagh, who received 'Best original screenplay' for In Bruges in which he was also nominated for the 'Best Supporting Actor' award but lost out to Heath Ledger for The Dark Knight. Mr. Isaacs also presented an award for 'Outstanding British contribution to cinema' to Pinewood and Shepperton Studios for 75 years of service.

Those pictures were great. I didn't think that she would end up presenting one of the awards. That's great for her publicity, I guess. I'm off to see the video of her presenting the award. I am eagerly looking forward to Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

What a stunning dress Emma's wearing. The only problem I have is that I think it is a bit too old for her. If she were ten years older yes, but not at her age. It's still a gorgeous dress though. I love the bead work.
Too bad Gleeson didn't get the award for In Burges. I saw the movie and he was very good in it. Too bad he went splat at the end.
