A 25 year-old stunt double of Daniel Radcliffe was badly injured yesterday on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The accident occurred while rehearsing a flying sequence involving a large blast (presumably during the chase that took place during the chapter Seven Potters).
According to a report
:
The stunt double was badly hurt. He was rehearsing a flying scene which involved an explosion and it seems to have gone badly wrong. The guy was rigged up to a harness for the scene and was flying through the air.
It is thought he may have been caught by the explosion and hit the ground very hard.
He told crew members who went to help him he couldn’t feel anything from the waist down. Everyone is just hoping he makes a good recovery. It has come as a terrible shock. Paramedics were called to the studio and the stuntman was taken to hospital amid fears he may have been paralyzed.

Danger is part of a stunt man's job description, its what many of them crave, but its horrible when something goes wrong. The Harry Potter community hopes for a speedy recovery, for his sake. :]

I guess you can never tell when something is going to go wrong.
I'm sure everyone working of the film will be doubly careful after this.
Blessings for a quick recovery! Hecte3fold!

Oh no. I do hope he makes it through alright and makes a full recovery. I hope this was just a freak accident and not the result of somebody neglecting safety regulations or something. Still, either way it's terrible news.

What a sad thing to start the movie. I hope it does not serves as a bad omen. And I hope that the stuntman would be okay and will not suffer lifetime injury. =(

I just read this somewhere (E I think) and came on here. I feel sorry for stuntmen and stuntwomen. They're always doing dangerous things and getting hurt, but they get so little recognition.
