Recent 'Potter' news debunked

Those who know have recently debunked recent news articles appearing around the world involving different aspects of Harry Potter.
-- First over the weekend British tabloids stated that Emma Watson would be the new face of Chanel fragrance Coco Mademoiselle with a reported contract for two-years worth 6 million dollars -- not true
-- Another rumor that recently surfaced reported that author J.K. Rowling had written a script for a movie that would be shown at the upcoming theme park at Universal’s Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida - again not true
-- Lastly the rumor where the Russian version of the Half-Blood Prince video game would be released early - again not true

Whoa. I heard just on the radio today that J.K. Rowling had written a short movie that would be released at the end of 2009 featuring Daniel, Emma, and Rupert, which would be shown at the Universal Studios. Hmmm...wish it was true! But I knew the Chanel one was a bit far fetched.

Wow, so many exciting yet fake news in such a short period of time. The Trio mini-movie is by far the most disappointing. I really hoped that was true and I was really excited. :( I'm ok with the other 2 being fake although disappointing as well.

There have been so many weird rumours floating about this year! But I'm hardly surprised that these have been proven false. It's funny but a lot of places are still reporting that the Chanel job for Emma is the real thing. Lazy journalists.

I'm sad that the movie script rumor is false, because that would have been really cool to see at the theme park.
The russian version of the video game being released before the rest of the world...come on. I would be extremely surprised if that happened. They would be so lucky.
I wonder if all of these rumours were made up by the same person, because they all came out in such a short span of time.

Wow, I was almost sure that the one with Emma would be true. That's kinda shame actually. I would have been really happy for her. A lot of rumors lately...people just wanting our hopes to be up...and then they crush them :(

I've never heard these rumors before reading the news here. I appreciate the reliability of the media, and their unfailing commitment to information. Emma Watson working for Chanel-why not, though I doubt she would really have time left for that. Rowling's writing is worth far more than theme park movie scripts. Finally I can't see why Russia would receive all the Potter stuff earlier. It will have to be translated first.
