In a survey
of 1,000 business leaders Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling was voted the third most influential woman in the UK. Ms. Rowling followed the Queen and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
The survey, by the Leadership Summit
, found that those surveyed believe that women are becoming more powerful and that a quarter of those respondents think that women will be as powerful as men by 2012.

I totally agree. Women have been more and more influential in the business, political, and professional world. Maybe by the time the feminine persuasion is as inflential as men there will be a decrease in the wars that are raging around the world. There are more ways to settle things than at the end of a gun.

Well done Jo, worthy company of influencial women. However, i feel it wlll take longer for women to be accepted as truly equal by as early as 2012. There are many inequalities all over the world, which will take longer than 4 years to fix.

Right after the Queen and a Prime Minister. I mean you can really ignore the queen (since she's the queen it's no wonder she's the first, everybody loves her:-)) so she come right after Prime Minister Thatcher...
