Harry Potter actress Emma Watson has once again donated to the Wild Trout Trust's
charity auction for 2008.
Ms. Watson donated a fly tied by her, which has been framed together with a signature card. The auction
goes live on Monday, March 31st and closes the evening of Wednesday April 9th with all proceeds put towards river conservation.

Good to hear she's contributing. I never knew she donated to the Wild Trout Trust. And here I thought Tom Felton was the big fisherman of the HP crew!

Wow, Emma's really been on this charity gig lately. First donating her favourite outfit on ebay, and now this. It's really great of her to donate to charity.
I've heard of this charity. I think she donated something else to this charity, I think about 2 years ago was when she last donated to this one...I might be wrong about when she donated to that charity, but I'm sure she did once(or twice, idk) before.
By the way, is Emma donating what I think she's donating? I don't get it. It said some other guy was donating a dried fly that he tied together...what exactly is she donating? A real fly that once flew...?

Nice to see her, as well as the other cast members, donating time and efforts to these causes. It shows maturity to give something back. My guess is that Tom Felton, who loves fishing might be interested in this charity.

It's not a real fly. "Flies" are the bait used in fly fishing. They are usually bits of things like fiber, nylon string, feathers and other stuff, tied together to look like a bug. Tying them is kind of an art.
Now I guess I should stop bugging my dad to turn off his fly tying tv shows because it seems I actually leaned something from them.

All the cast is getting involved in some trout affair, it should seem. The fish has no idea of its privilege: swallowing an autograph of Emma Watson is definitely unique, above all for a trout.

Well, having not considered her as an "outdoor girl" I'm more than a bit impressed she could do that.

That is so great of Emma! I didn't even know she could tie a fly! Well Done! I always thought that Tom Felton was the HP character who liked to fish! I think it's great all the charity work these kids do!
